Automated liquid handling device (liquid manipulator)
Automated laboratory device (liquid manipulator) measuring approximately 540 × 680 × 930 mm, equipped with two microplate receptacles, deionization bars, and a ultrasound head controlled by a screen and LED, enabling highly precise transfer of liquid droplets via acoustic propulsion (ultrasound) between a source plate and an inverted target plate (drop ejection of 2.5 nanoliters, up to 500 per second). Used for sample preparation, the system ensures the manipulation of very small volumes in biology, chemistry, or pharmacy laboratories. The device falls under the category of laboratory instruments or apparatus, subject to electrical safety regulations, electromagnetic compatibility, CE marking, and REACH regulation for the constituent materials.
