Customs classification of this product is based on its composition and intended use. The product is a liquid bovine colostrum, defatted and decaseinated, intended as a dietary supplement for human consumption, to be taken daily either pure or diluted, with no specific therapeutic claims. Its composition per 100 ml includes 2.5–5.5 g of milk proteins, 3.3 g of carbohydrates, less than 0.5 g of fat, and it has a high immunoglobulin content relative to milk or whey. Regulatory considerations include compliance with legislation on animal-origin dietary supplements (safety, labeling, traceability, dairy allergens), REACH requirements for packaging materials, and prohibition of unsubstantiated medical claims. The classification must consider the product’s nature, composition, and intended use to determine the correct tariff heading under the Combined Nomenclature (CN).
