Portable interchangeable device (IPL handpiece) consisting of a flash lamp, optical system, trigger, and indicator light; operates exclusively connected to a dedicated base unit (power supply, control, cooling) to generate intense pulsed light (650–1200 nm, 16 × 46 mm, max. 45 J/cm², duration up to 100 ms) used notably for permanent hair removal in aesthetics. Portable interchangeable device (laser handpiece) comprising a laser module, optical system, beam width switch, trigger; intended for exclusive use with the same base unit, producing a laser light (1064 nm, adjustable beam widths 1.5–9 mm, max. 700 J/cm², duration up to 100 ms) specifically for aesthetic treatment of varicose veins. Main use: specialized, non-autonomous applicators for professional aesthetic treatments with centralized control, command, and cooling via the main unit. Regulatory specifics: subject to the Medical Devices Directive or Cosmetic Directive depending on indications, compliant with laser and IPL equipment safety standards, CE marking requirements, REACH/RoHS declaration of conformity, training and traceability obligations.
