A holographic overlay laminate topcoat Used on digitally printed cards to enhance security, increase durability and protect bar codes, signatures, variable text logos and images from abrasions and chemical reactions. The hologram laminates, patches or overlays are made up of polyester foils. The optical structures are embossed via rotation cylinder with pressure and temperature into the polyester foil. It is applied to the cards by heat in an ironing process. All printing on the laminate is done prior to importation.
