Biopsy Device Hub. It functions as a secure, precision-threaded connector between biopsy needles and endoscopic devices, for minimally invasive biopsies. The hub allows connection of a moulded cap and stylet via a slot, a biopsy needle screws onto the hub via threading and a further support tube fits into the hub. The hub is soldered to the support tube and needle. A flare is placed on the support tube. The hub is made from brass.
