To qualify for the EU-Mexico preferential rate on HS 5602, products must satisfy the origin rule of type maximum non-originating materials (MaxNOM). A tolerance of 10% of the ex-works value applies. 2 specific rules apply to this code under this agreement.

However: - polypropylene filament of heading 5402, - polypropylene fibres of heading 5503 or heading 5506, or - polypropylene filament tow of heading 5501, of which the denomination in all cases of a single filament or fibre is less than nine decitex may be used provided their value does not exceed 40% of the ex-works price of the product.
