To qualify for the EU-Mexico preferential rate on HS 8508, products must satisfy the origin rule of type specific processing (SP). A tolerance of 10% of the ex-works value applies.
Manufacture in which all the materials used are classified within a heading other than that of the product, except for materials of heading 6804, heading 8202, heading 8207, heading 8208, heading 8466, 8467, 8501 and 8548.
Manufacture in which the value of all the materials used does not exceed 50% of the ex-works price of the product.
