EU-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement · Origin of Goods
To qualify for the EU-New Zealand preferential rate on HS 5006, products must satisfy the origin rule of type change of tariff heading (CTH). A tolerance of 10% of the ex-works value applies.
CTH: All non-originating materials used in the production of the good have undergone a change in tariff classification at the 4-digit level (tariff heading).
The good has a Regional Value Content (RVC) as calculated under Article 4 of the Origin Reference Document of not less than 40 except from headings 50.04 or 50.05%, whether using the build-up method or build-down method (RVC40 except from headings 50.04 or 50.05).
