To qualify for the EU-Switzerland preferential rate on HS 2712, products must satisfy the origin rule of type specific processing (SP). A tolerance of 10% of the ex-works value applies.
Operations of refining and / or one or more specific process(es). For the special conditions relating to "specific process(es)", see Introductory Notes 8.1 to 8.3.
Other operations in which all the materials used are classified within a heading other than that of the product. However, materials of the same heading as the product may be used, provided that their total value does not exceed 50% of the ex-works price of the product.
