Masterbatch of thermoplastic pellets containing insecticide and repellents

This product is a masterbatch in the form of thermoplastic pellets, composed of a polymer such as EVA or LDPE, in which an insecticide (permethrin), essential oils (thymol, eugenol, citral), denatonium benzoate, derivatives of benzoic acid, and lidocaine are dispersed. It is used as an additive during the processing of plastics to incorporate the insecticide and repellent agents intended to protect finished products against attacks and deterioration caused by termites. This masterbatch imparts a functional property of anti-mordant and insecticidal effect to the finished plastic articles. The classification is based on the chemical composition and intended use, considering the relevant provisions of Regulation 2018/267, the Combined Nomenclature (CN) rules, and the applicable legal references.
