As per description provided it a Compact Substation of 1000kVA. A metal enclosure with separate compartments, consisting of MV switchgear, a transformer and an LV switchboard. No inverter is included. The Compact Substation is to step-down electrical power from 11kV distribution voltage to 400V final distribution voltage and split the output over a number of outgoing circuits. The Medium Voltage switchgear offers protection against fault currents and acts as a means of isolating the compact sub from the medium voltage grid or ring. The Low Voltage Board, which also offers protection against fault currents at the lower voltage, has an incoming circuit breaker rated at 1600A and a number of 400A circuit breakers which split the electrical supply into a number of circuits. It also offers the possibility of measuring output current, voltage and power.
