Patient Starter Kit is shipped to doctors who provides it to patients alongside their first sets of Invisalign clear aligners. This protects clear aligners from loss and damage.
The main component of standard Patient Starter Kits is as follows:
- Plastic Aligner Storage Case (Main Component);
- Box, Patient Starter Kit;
- Bag, String Patient Starter Kit;
- Printed materials.
The aligner storage case is specifically designed to accommodate and protect aligners when not in use. It is compact and portable, suitable for carrying in a pocket or handbag.
The Invisalign System is indicated for the orthodontic treatment of malocclusion, which consists of a series of doctor-prescribed, patient-specific, custom made, thin, clear plastic removable orthodontic appliances (clear aligners) that gently move the patient’s teeth in small increments from their original state to a more optimal, treated state. The aligners are not covered by this BTI.
