Ductile cast iron spun pipes made from nodular graphite in cast iron. The pipes have a smooth inside cement mortar lining to enable a highly corrosion resistance C value (HWC=140) corresponding to Darcy's Factor (f=0.012). The casting is formed in a metal mould immersed in a running water bath and rotating at very high speed in an almost horizontal position. The pipes are then cooled down quickly by cold running water. Diameter of pipes: 150 mm Test pressure: 50kgf/cm2. Tensile strength - min. 420 MPa Pressure rating - 50 bars. The pipes are used in pressure systems.
