Extracto acuoso concentrado de melaza de remolacha, de color marrón oscuro, que contiene 40 % de betaína, 40 % de agua, 2,2 % de sacarosa, 3 % de cenizas y diversos compuestos orgánicos (ácidos aminados, ácidos orgánicos).
Este producto, obtenido mediante filtración, purificación cromatográfica y concentración de la betaína, presenta un contenido muy bajo de azúcar residual. Se presenta en estado a granel o en contenedores de 1 000 kg y está destinado exclusivamente a ser utilizado como premix para la alimentación animal, favoreciendo la digestión y el equilibrio intestinal. Refiere a aditivos o ingredientes funcionales para alimentos de animales y debe cumplir con la normativa sobre materias primas y aditivos para la alimentación animal (seguridad, trazabilidad, autorizaciones de uso, etiquetado).

Mélasse en poudre modifiée de canne à sucre déshydratée
Produit en poudre constitué de mélasses modifiées de canne à sucre déshydratées, de couleur brun clair, composé principalement de saccharose (82,4 %), avec ajout de fibres végétales et de concentrés de mélasses, contenant également 7 % de cellulose brute et 1,5 % de cendres. Dégre de polarisation : 83,4°, sans amidon. Destiné exclusivement à l’alimentation animale, ce produit n’est pas propre à la consommation humaine et relève des matières premières sucrières pour la nutrition animale, soumis aux exigences de traçabilité et sécurité pour l’alimentation des animaux.

Preparation, of a kind used in animal- feeding, obtained via a high-temperature chemical reaction of a mixture of apatite, phosphoric acid and sodium carbonate or sodium hydroxide. This product is defluorinated, and consists mainly of a mixture of phosphates of calcium and of calcium-sodium.
Classification is determined by the provision of general rules 1 and 6 for the interpretation of the Combined Nomenclature and by the wording of CN codes 2309, 2309 90 and 2309 90 96. The product does not meet the descriptions given in Note 3(A) to Chapter 31 because it is obtained by a chemical reaction of apatite with sodium compounds and phosphoric acid which allows it to be used as animal feed.
