A membrane/vent filter Membrane is placed over an air vent in the back of the asset tracker, this then resists the penetration of low surface tension contaminates such as cleaning agents, detergents, and oils. EPTFE membrane treated with an oleophobic coating. A membrane filter media and a polyester scrim are laminated together. This process will produce a large 14” wide master roll. The laminated media master roll is then oleophobically treating using a dip coating process. The oleophobically treated laminated media master roll is then slit down to multiple 3.25” widths. The oleophobically treated laminated media, an adhesive, a clear polyester carrier, and a release liner are then processed on a die cutting process to create the final part. Final parts are then run through our rewind inspection and QA processes.
