To qualify for the EU-Chile preferential rate on HS 8403, products must satisfy the origin rule of type change of tariff heading (CTH). A tolerance of 10% of the ex-works value applies.
Manufacture from materials of any heading, except those of heading 8403 and heading 8404.
Manufacture in which the value of all the materials used does not exceed 40% of the ex-works price of the product.
