To qualify for the EU-Ghana EPA preferential rate on HS 8536, products must satisfy the origin rule of type maximum non-originating materials (MaxNOM). A tolerance of 15% of the ex-works value applies. 4 specific rules apply to this code under this agreement.
Manufacture: - in which the value of all the materials used does not exceed 40% of the ex‐works price of the product and - where, within the above limit, the value of the materials classified within heading 8538 are only used up to a value of 10% of the ex‐works price of the product.
