To qualify for the JEFTA preferential rate on HS 8205, products must satisfy the origin rule of type change of tariff heading (CTH). A tolerance of 10% of the ex-works value applies. 2 specific rules apply to this code under this agreement.
CTH: All non-originating materials used in the production of the good have undergone a change in tariff classification at the 4-digit level (tariff heading).
A maximum of 50% of the ex-works price (EXW) is made up of non-originating parts (MAXNOM).
50% ex-worksYour goods contain a Regional Value Content (RVC) of at least 55% of the Free on Board (FOB) cost of the goods.
55% ex-worksCTH: All non-originating materials used in the production of the good have undergone a change in tariff classification at the 4-digit level (tariff heading).
However, non-originating tools of heading 8205 may be incorporated into the set, provided that their total value does not exceed 15% of the ex-works price (EXW) or the Free on Board (FOB) cost of the set.
