To qualify for the EU-Kenya EPA preferential rate on HS 4107, products must satisfy the origin rule of type specific processing (SP). A tolerance of 15% of the ex-works value applies.
Manufacture from materials of any heading, except that of the product. However, materials of subheading 410441, subheading 410449, subheading 410530, subheading 410622, subheading 410632 and subheading 410692 may be used only if a re- tanning operation of the tanned or crust hides and skins in the dry state takes place.
