To qualify for the EU-Korea FTA preferential rate on HS 3823, products must satisfy the origin rule of type maximum non-originating materials (MaxNOM). A tolerance of 10% of the ex-works value applies. 2 specific rules apply to this code under this agreement.
Manufacture from materials of any heading, except that of the product. However, materials of the same heading as the product may be used, provided that their total value does not exceed 20% of the ex-works price of the product.
