To qualify for the EU-Mexico preferential rate on HS 8418, products must satisfy the origin rule of type specific processing (SP). A tolerance of 10% of the ex-works value applies. 4 specific rules apply to this code under this agreement.
Manufacture in which all the materials used are classified within a heading other than that of the product, except for materials of chapter 73 and heading 4814 and heading 9032.
Manufacture in which the value of all the materials used does not exceed 50% of the ex-works price of the product.
50% ex-worksManufacture in which: - all the materials used are classified within a heading other than that of the product, - the value of all the materials used does not exceed 40% of the ex-works price of the product, - the value of all the non-originating materials used does not exceed the value of the originating materials used.
