To qualify for the EU-New Zealand preferential rate on HS 8703, products must satisfy the origin rule of type regional value content (RVC). A tolerance of 10% of the ex-works value applies.
The good has a Regional Value Content (RVC) as calculated under Article 4 of the Origin Reference Document of not less than 25%, whether using the build-up method or build-down method (RVC25).
