To qualify for the EU-Turkey CU preferential rate on HS 3105, products must satisfy the origin rule of type maximum non-originating materials (MaxNOM). 2 specific rules apply to this code under this agreement.
CTH: All non-originating materials used in the production of the good have undergone a change in tariff classification at the 4-digit level (tariff heading), however, non-originating materials of the same heading as the product may be used, provided that their total value does not exceed 20% of the ex-works price (EXW) of the product.
20% ex-worksA maximum of 40% of the ex-works price (EXW) is made up of non-originating parts (MAXNOM).
40% ex-worksCTH: All non-originating materials used in the production of the good have undergone a change in tariff classification at the 4-digit level (tariff heading), however, non-originating materials of the same heading as the product may be used, provided that their total value does not exceed 20% of the ex-works price (EXW) of the product, and in which the value of all non-originating materials used does not exceed 50% of the ex-works price (EXW) of the product.
