To qualify for the EU-Turkey CU preferential rate on HS 9608, products must satisfy the origin rule of type change of tariff heading (CTH). 2 specific rules apply to this code under this agreement.
CTH: All non-originating materials used in the production of the good have undergone a change in tariff classification at the 4-digit level (tariff heading).
A maximum of 50% of the ex-works price (EXW) is made up of non-originating parts (MAXNOM).
50% ex-worksEach item in the set shall satisfy the rule which would apply to it if it were not included in the set, provided that non-originating articles may be incorporated, provided that their total value does not exceed 15% of the ex-works price (EXW) of the set.
