THE DEVICE INCORPORATES A FIBRE OPTIC TAPER ARRAY 203 X 203 MM BONDED TO FOUR FRONT-SIDE ILLUMINATED IMAGE SENSORS. THE HIGH SENSITIVITY ACHIEVED IN THIS WAY IS COMBINED WITH A HIGH-SPEED READOUT DESIGN WHILE PROVIDING A TRUE DYNAMIC RANGE OF 18,500:1.
