THE SYSTEM ALLOWS UP TO SIX MINIATURE REMOTE CAMERA HEADS WITH CMOS IMAGE SENSORS TO BE CONNECTED TO A SINGLE CONTROL UNIT, VIA THIN, FLEXIBLE CONNECTING CABLES OF VARIOUS LENGTHS, TO ACCOMODATE A WIDE VARIETY OF CAMERA HEAD VIEWING ANGLES AND MOUNTING LOCATIONS. THE CAMERA CAN CAPTURE HIGH RESOLUTION IMAGES (1920 X 1440 PIXEL) AT FRAME RATES UP TO 750 INDIVIDUAL FRAMES PER SECOND (FPS) AND WITH REDUCED IMAGE RESOLUTION AT FRAME RATES UP TO 10,000 FPS. AT A FRAME RATE OF 1,000 FP) THE CAMERA IS ABLE TO RECORD FULL RESOLUTION IMAGES FOR DURATIONS OF BETWEEN 2.1 AND 124.3 SECONDS DEPENDANT ON THE NUMBER OF CAMERA HEADS FITTED. THE DYNAMIC RANGE (ADC) IS 24-BIT COLOUR AND 8-BIT MONOCHROME. THE SYSTEM CAN BE OPERATED WITH OR WITHOUT CONNECTION TO A PERSONAL COMPUTER. THE SYSTEM ALLOWS AUTOMATED IMAGE DOWNLOAD TO BUILT-IN NON VOLATILE MEMORY. IMAGE TRANSFER TO A COMPUTER CAN BE MADE USING GIGABIT ETTHERNET AND USB3. MEMORY BACKUP TO INTERNAL 512 GB BUILT-IN SSD.
