Printer ribbon used with a printer for printing on plastic cards. It consists of a plastic ribbon with segments of different colours on a plastic spool. The pigments on the ribbon are transferred onto the cards by a heat process. It is imported together with an extra roller and a cleaning card packed in a box. The ribbon kit is inserted with a RFID interface which tells the printer what type of ribbon has been inserted.
