These tablets are an NaDCC based water disinfectant. They are effervescent tablets which kill micro-organisms in water and disinfect water borne disease for example Cholera, Typhoid and Dysentery. Aquatabs are sold in either tablet form or in granule / blend form. The primary active ingredient is Troclosene Sodium (NaDCC). HaDCC is a halogen based compound.
