Pull wire/ring. A pull wire/ring assembly, made from stainless-steel, which is used in medical catheters to provide steerability and deflection during medical procedure, a heart valve repair system. It ensures precise control of the catheter, enabling it to navigate through the body safely and effectively. The pull ring is anchored within the polymer jacket at the distal end, the holes on the ring allow polymer to flow through when melted to increase the anchor force at the ring. The pull wires run through two lumens inside the device to the proximal end, which is the handle used to control/steer the articulation. When tension is applied to the pull wires at the proximal end, the distal end articulates, this allows the surgeon to navigate through the vessels.
