To qualify for the TCA preferential rate on HS 2710, products must satisfy the origin rule of type change of tariff heading (CTH). A tolerance of 10% of the ex-works value applies.
CTH: All non-originating materials used in the production of the good have undergone a change in tariff classification at the 4-digit level (tariff heading) except from non-originating biodiesel of subheading 382499 or subheading 382600.
Distillation or a chemical reaction is undergone, provided that biodiesel (including hydrotreated vegetable oil) of heading 2710 and subheading 382499 and subheading 382600 used is obtained by esterification, transesterification or hydrotreatment.
