Delta I/E — Import/Export
Delta I/E is the new computerized customs clearance system for French customs, gradually replacing the old Delta G (import) and Delta X (export) systems.
Deployment
- Import section: operational since March 2025
- Export section: deployed since November 2025
- The complete switchover is in progress, with a gradual migration of operators
What's new
Delta I/E integrates CDU requirements and interfaces with European systems (AES for export, ICS2 for import). It offers new functionalities: improved management of special regimes, interface with the National Single Window (GUN) and automated transmission of safety data.
Impact for operators
Companies and their customs representatives must adapt their information systems to connect to the Delta I/E message format. Customs clearance software publishers have had to update their solutions.
Transition
During the transition period, the Delta G/X and Delta I/E systems coexist. Operators are encouraged to quickly switch to the new system.
