SOPRANO — Customs authorization portal

SOPRANO (Online Service Offering Procedures Relating to Authorizations and Notifications of Operators) is the French customs portal for the dematerialized management of customs authorizations and approvals.

Authorizations managed via SOPRANO

Request and monitoring of AEO status, authorizations for special regimes (customs warehouse, inward/outward processing, temporary admission, particular destination), authorizations for simplified procedures (simplified declaration, PDE), collection credit, guarantees and deposits and authorizations for natural persons.

Operation

The operator creates an account on SOPRANO, submits their requests online, provides supporting documents and monitors the progress of the processing. Decisions are notified via the portal.

GUM (Unified Movement Management)

SOPRANO integrates the GUM module for the management of goods movements under special regimes and the monitoring of guarantees.

Link with the CDU

SOPRANO is the French system for processing customs decisions within the meaning of the CDU (Customs Decisions System — CDS), interconnected with European systems.
