MRN — Movement Reference Number

The MRN is a unique reference number assigned by customs systems to each accepted customs declaration. It allows you to identify and track the movement of goods.

Structure

The MRN is composed of 18 characters including the year, country code, a unique national identifier and a control character.

Uses

The MRN is used for monitoring import and export declarations, transit operations (T1, T2), entry summary declarations (ENS) and exit summary declarations (EXS).
