POLYAMIDE (NYLON) . This material is a plasticised resin used on the extrusion of different layers of the flexible pipe . IT is a high performance polyamide . IT is produced from a 100% renewable raw material, namely castor seeds. It has a unique combination of properties very similar to PA12. This polyamide delivers an outstanding chemical resistance, an excellent durability and a wide range of flexibility. The polymer type would be described as a thermoplastic.
