A sensor PCB. It acts as an interface module for a residual current monitoring system. The PCB filters the signals and processes them through its main chip and then sends an output signal to the main system if it detects a fault. It is powered from a 12 V DC supply and provides the necessary electronics to compare the current signal against the rated residual fault threshold (6 mA DC). When the measured residual current exceeds the specified threshold, the PCB drives a “Fault” output signal to indicate that a dangerous leakage/fault condition exists and the supply to the load (i.e. EV charger) should be disconnected. The product cannot be used as a standalone device and is designed for OEM integration.
