On one side of the coins, at the centre, a Maple Leaf and around it, the words "Canada", "9999 Fine Silver" "1 oz argent pur 9999" are shown. On the other side of the coins, at the centre, a profile of Queen Elizabeth II, surrounded by the words "Elizabeth II", "5 dollars" and the year "2016". The coins are minted and legal tender in Canada.
