Cette entrée concerne les magnétomètres et gradiomètres magnétiques de haute sensibilité, capables de détecter de très faibles variations de champs magnétiques. Sont inclus les magnétomètres à SQUID, à pompe optique, à précession nucléaire, à fluxgate, à fibre optique, ainsi que les capteurs de champ électrique sous-marin et les systèmes de compensation associés. Ces équipements sont utilisés dans la détection sous-marine, la géophysique avancée, la recherche scientifique et les applications militaires.
